Through the chakras we connect to the universal Energetic Body, that is, to life. The chakras metabolize energy to and from the Aura. We experience that energy when we smell, see, love, feel, suffer, etc. We interpret "reality" with our chakra system.
The chakras metabolize the energy of the "Universal Energetic Body" towards our Chakra System and towards the physical body. Therefore the chakras should be kept as open, clean and balanced as possible. The more open, clean and balanced our chakras are, the more and better energy they will send to our physical body. Then our physical body will remain completely healthy. A blockage or imbalance in a chakra can lead to illness, first spiritual, mental, sentimental or/and emotional, to later manifest as physical illness. Several unbalanced or/and blocked chakras will lead to serious illness and subsequent physical death.

The development of the "Major Chakras System" implies an emotional, mental, sentimental and spiritual development, therefore depending on the degree of spiritual, sentimental, etc. development in our lives, the better our state of health. According to our spirituality will be our health.
Our senses are also associated with the Chakra System: Touch is associated with the Base and Sacral chakra, sight with the Third Eye, and smell, taste and hearing are associated with the Throat chakra. The sixth sense or intuition could well be associated with the Solar Plexus.
