Mudras and Chakras

The Mudras undo the Blockages in the Chakras

Mudra is a Sanskrit word composed of two words: "mud", which could be translated as "pleasure", "well-being", "health", "happiness", and "dra", which means "to provide", "to produce, " contribute", "balance". In fact, the noun "mudra" comes from an adjective that means "happy", "cheerful", "jovial", "healthy", etc. The mudras are made (especially) with the hands, although sometimes the arms and other parts of the body are involved in the mudra. Thus, "mudra" could be defined as a symbol of power made with the hands that brings the practitioner peace, health and happiness.

One cannot talk about mudras without talking about the Major Chakra System of the Human Spiritual Anatomy, since the mudras exert their effect, mainly, on the chakras. It is in the chakras where the first root of traumas, frustrations or sentimental wounds is found. The mudras balance the Major Chakra System, undoing those traumas, frustrations and sorrows that unbalanced it, and therefore, also, the derived symptoms.

mudras. A way to channel Love towards yourself

The mudras have an effect on the body, mind and soul because in our hands we have both a large number of nerve endings and the beginning or endings of the so-called acupuncture meridians. By joining these nerve endings or/and meridians, we create energy circuits that positively affect the human being, restoring health and well-being, thanks to the fact that they balance (mainly) their chakras. Nor can we forget the chakras of the hands, which of the so-called "minor" ones are the most important, and which are used, among other ways, to channel healing energies through the imposition of hands.

It goes without saying that the "power" of certain mudras is due to the fact that they have unconsciously become positive archetypes for the human being, such as the mudra to pray, the mudra that is made forming a circle with the thumbs and middle fingers of each hand, and which, today, implies a predisposition for meditation, and even the symbol of victory that is made by forming the "V" with the index and middle fingers.

The Positive Energetic Effect of Mudras restores Health

The mudras are usually carried out (generally) in twenty-minute sessions, where the concentration on the hands, the breath and the goal to be achieved (in this case the restoration of physical, mental, emotional, sentimental and spiritual health ), make the moment a unique and perfect act of prayer and meditation.

The mudras must be practiced sitting down, because although you can breathe better standing up, the twenty-minute session would tire the practitioner, which would cause them to lose concentration.

Breathing should be long, deep and harmonious. Breathe into the abdomen, and only through the nose, keeping the mouth closed (better with the tongue touching the palate) at all times.
Lightly press on the parts of the hands involved in the mudra until a small vibration is felt in them to form the energy circuit.

The positive energy contribution of the mudra, deep breathing, concentration, and the mind directed towards a certain goal to be achieved, turn the practice of mudras into deep and completely effective healing meditations.

Awaken your Higher Consciousness with Mudras

Mudra for the Healing of the Third Eye and the Subconscious

This Mudra has a powerful healing effect on the Third Eye chakra.

Mudra to undo all the negative energies that are recorded in our subconscious, due to memories of negative experiences such as negative feelings and emotions.

Our subconscious affects our consciousness and therefore our life, creating actions, situations and moments that we don't even understand and of course we don't want.

In order to successfully carry out our vital earthly mission, we have to get rid of the impurities of our subconscious that dominate our life in a negative way.

The following Mudra will also free you from many fears and phobias that you do not understand but are there (in your life).

1. prayer
2. Mudra: Make two fists with your hands except for the thumbs, which will remain extended and joined at their tips. The knuckles of the middle fingers of each hand joined together. The Mudra is done at the level of the Solar Plexus with the thumbs directed towards the Heart chakra.
3. Close to the Energies
4. Give Thanks
5. Root

(Breath of Light. Ideal Meditation Time 20 minutes)

Mudras of Power. A Great Work of Damián Alvarez (Illustrated in Full Color)

Mudras. Symbols of Power made with the Hands

Work with Mudras

In all types of "Healing Energy Work" you must follow the
Next steps. These steps each carry a certain Mudra.
For me (Damián Alvarez), the definition of "Mudra" is the following
"Symbol of Power made with the Hands". Whoever likes it likes it.
The steps prior to any meditation with Mudras are the
following:
1. Prayer (Mudra to Pray/Receive). (Mudra “Hands with palms
directed towards the sky to receive)
The steps after Meditation with Mudras are as follows:
1. Close to the Energies (Mudra of Crossed Arms on the Plexus
Solar)

-14-

2. Give thanks to God if desired (Mudra to Pray “Gasho”)
3. Rooting or Grounding (Mudra “Hands in English”)

The Best way to Work with Mudras. Comfortable and relaxed

The Best way to Work with Mudras. Comfortable and relaxed
The recommended ideal duration of the Mudra Meditations is
11 to 20 minutes, although we will also use the Short Meditations of
3 minutes.
It is recommended to meditate twice a day.
The "Breath of Light" that I recommend during the "Work with
Mudras” is the “Alignment with the Light” (see “First Level of the System of
Spiritual Healing”) and the “Breath of Fire” (which we will explain later)
in special cases.
I also recommend that during the Meditations you breathe only for
the nose, since we will keep the mouth closed with the tongue touching the
palate.
The Eyes will also be kept closed, but if it were possible for
they will "look" towards the third Eye or towards the back of the brain.

-fifteen-

Mudras are usually done in front of the Chakras with Exceptions

The recommended body position will be as comfortable as possible but
always seated. Even if you breathe better standing up, the duration of the
Meditations is a bit excessive to perform standing up and it is about
have a nice, pleasant time, so I rule out beforehand
all unnatural positions (thereby challenging their defenders)
for believing them uncomfortable and of little benefit to human health. It
better for the body and Alma is the best, neither more nor less, have fun
good.
I also don't like weird eastern names for Mudras (although
someday I will be forced to name them) that have always been
used in all cultures. What should be spoken in Spanish like this
we all understand each other.
The concentration will always be directed towards the breath and towards the
Mudra, that is, the hands.

-16-

The Concentration will be directed towards the Mudra, that is, towards the Hands

Mudras are usually done (as indicated) in front of the
Heart chakra, in front of the Solar Plexus or in front of the Tan-Tien, although
some Mudras are done on other chakras or with the hands on both
sides of the body.

RESUME

1. prayer
2. Meditation with the Mudra (from 11 to 20 minutes, if not specified otherwise)
time frame)
3. Close to the Energies
4. Give Thanks
5. Take root

Enjoy!
