The Inner Child is a Grumpy Old Man

What do you express in your life, your Inner Child or a Grumpy Old Man?
Do you recognize yourself?

Without belittling anyone, even less the elderly, whom I respect with all my soul. Although there are some "grumpy old men," most old people are affable people and full of wisdom.

What we are going to Everyone talks about the "inner child", our true "I", defining it, describing it, as an innocent being of pure light, the divine essence within us, who we really are.

The inner child is found in our Tan-tien or "Core Star", that is the seat of our divine spark of unconditional love. In truth, it is so, but the way back home is not easy at all.

In the process of healing (the way back home, to ourselves), we will meet three grumpy old men, three wounded children).

Your Inner Child suffers from Sorrows, Traumas and Frustrations.
Do you recognize yourself?

Have you ever thought about why we separate from ourselves, from our inner child, or do they separate us? What need would we have to get away from ourselves and why do we do it?

Society, culture, religions, our parents, first deceive us into believing that things must be a certain way in order for them to be good, for us to do well in life, for us to be someone and succeed, and then we they are filled with "no's", fears and the impossible, which do not allow us to achieve those things, be in those ways, and even less "succeed in life" to become "someone".

The child brought up, not in a positive/negative duality, but rather in a negative unity, learns to interpret a world in a way that will be cruel to himself.
Traumas do not exist if we were not taught to suffer traumas. The same happens with sorrows or frustrations. A negative education hurts, traumatizes and frustrates. Unconditional love is not taught, the child is not educated to live with love, the only thing that would avoid any kind of suffering.
Not to mention the psychological, sentimental and emotional abuse that the child may suffer.

Understand that your Inner Child is Sick. Heal your life.
Do you recognize yourself?

The grumpy old man or "sorry inner child" will rebel against whoever wishes to love him unconditionally because what he thought was love has abandoned him. In this case, the child may not have felt loved enough, perhaps abandoned by who he thought loved him or perhaps he thought he was unlovable. Affective deficiencies we all have. The sentimentally wounded inner child will struggle between love, fear, hate, interest, distrust, and jealousy.

The "second grumpy old man" is the traumatized child who became upset when what he perhaps did at the time or happened to him was "something wrong." Not living up to the circumstances, to the expectations of the parents, or just being traumatized because they have been educated to it, creates a child with a complex full of shame, fear, and insecurities. This child compares himself with others and will use vanity, arrogance, pride as masks, to appear who he thinks he should be according to the education instilled by his parents. He really is a failed child who lives looking for ugliness, failures, mistakes, mistakes in others, to feel better about himself, and the worst thing is that he becomes a completely selfish being.

You are still on time. Do not settle for being an Old Man or Old Grumpy

The "third grumpy old man" is a frustrated, and therefore angry, child. The repeated disappointments caused by those who he thought loved him, and a method that perhaps worked for him once, taking advantage of the weakness of his parents, such as a tantrum, create an aggressive child full of mistrust who, when he does not get what he wants, becomes aggressive. A child who kicks to get what he wants.

So, in order to find your inner child, you must first understand these three grumpy old men, accept them, heal them, re-educate them, and above all, love them unconditionally.
Remember that we all have a grumpy little old man inside.
