With this commandment begins one's relationship with others. It is clear that the first, deepest and longest relationship that a human being has is with his parents. We are talking about a relationship for life. In addition to a supposedly loving relationship.
Through our parents we come into the world, we are supported, cared for and educated.
We know that the child keeps his chakras connected to that of his parents for life, although he gradually separates them in periods of seven years for each energy center until the child becomes an adult with his own personality.
Therefore, honoring your parents is honoring yourself, it is honoring life, honoring God, our great heavenly Father.
Parents only want (presumably also), the best for their children, although many times they make mistakes. The mistakes of parents really have no excuses because, educating their children as God intended, then, they would never be wrong.

Many times, what parents believe love, that is, the best for their children, is based on erroneous teachings (and not on love), such as the following: "so that you can become someone in life", "what more important is a good job and money "," if you have nothing, nobody will love you "," you be careful on the street when you go out ", and a very long etcetera.
On protection, concerns, fears, insecurities and even jealousy and envy of parents to their children, not to mention mistreatment, sexual abuse, and others, are on the order of the day, which clearly proves that parents do not live according to the Law of God.
It is no wonder that young people abandon their parents as soon as they can and are able to support themselves. They don't honor their parents because their parents didn't honor them either, but it's no excuse either.
They can tell me that children do not do what they are taught but what they see or what they want, but it is not like that. Children are educated not with words or actions but with energy. If the father or mother wants their children sexually, even if they instill the opposite, then those energies will mark the infant for life.
