How can we develop our higher consciousness, our Alter Ego?
It really is easy, but difficult in the world we live in. What a paradox! True?
To develop our Alter Ego, meaning "Alter Ego" as our "Higher Self", the best in ourselves, just to be ourselves (beings created in the image and likeness of God) would be more than enough.
What is often called "spiritual development" is really what should be "natural" in humans. We need not develop into anything or in any way but to be "ourselves". We are already more than sufficiently developed. He understands that we are the only beings in the universe created in the image and likeness of God, and the only ones who have the gift of free will (to know).
So I say "easy" because just to be "ourselves" would live with a higher consciousness. I say "difficult" because the vast majority of people believe they are their physical body, their money, possessions, etc. and they live as such.

To return to live with a higher consciousness is due to reeducate the human being in what "really" and make him aware of the lie that lives so you can get rid of it. Then, just to live / be / exist, would suffice.
Higher consciousness is achieved when we realize that everyone and everything "we are one" and that the happiness or unhappiness of others is your own. That we are individualized, but in no way separated.
We live using our higher consciousness when we plant vegetables and enrich not to sell but to give, not just to our relatives, but to anyone.
We live using our higher consciousness when dealing neighbor's child like ours.

We live using our higher consciousness when we collect, not only our waste but which have thrown others, when we go to the countryside or the beach.
We live using our higher consciousness when we plant a tree for enjoyment and well-being of future generations, but we never enjoy.
We live with a higher consciousness when all you do for God, the universe, for all, without us own benefit anyone, whether in the form of praise or money.
Jesus illustrated what follows: "Let your left hand does not find out what your right hand." So, when you hang a picture in your home, hang it for God, not for me to see your mother and tell you how nice it is. This example perfectly see the difference between living in a "selfish" (expecting a profit), and live with Alter Ego, Higher Self, do not expect anything from anyone or anything but gives everything for the good of all . Live with love.
Our "Higher Self" is our "natural", and our "Higher Consciousness" is our "natural consciousness" but we have forgotten it. So it's good to be reminded from time to time.
