Masks and the Solar Plexus

With the Mask we hide our Inner Wounded Child

Masks are used by human beings to hide what they do not want others to see in them and to pretend that they are something or someone “better” than what they are and which they really are not.

Every human being uses or has ever used at least three types of different masks: The social mask, the family mask, the personal mask.
(For more information see: “The masks” in this same blog)

The creation of masks is a symptom of insecurity, of little self-love, of shame, of believing that one is less than others, that one does not like how one is.

The symptoms mentioned above are symptoms of a blocked Solar Plexus.

The Solar Plexus is your Ego. A healthy and strong Solar Plexus, self-confident, does not need masks and does not care what others think.
A weak, blocked, insecure Solar Plexus, an embarrassed Ego, full of fear and low self-esteem needs many masks to go out and confront other people's masks.

We do not want others to see our Sufferings

The idea of masks is an attempt to direct the attention of the people we interact with towards something other than ourselves, and we create them because we feel less than others and because we believe that others are better than us.

Masks answer the classic question of how are you, how is life going, how are you feeling?
The social mask responds with “the last soccer game won by their team,” “what their political party achieved,” etc. The family mask would answer the same question with “how well my children are doing in school” or “that my wife has a new and better job”, etc. The personal mask brings up “the money I earn at work,” “the purchase of the latest car,” “the wonder of summer vacation,” etc.

With neither mask does the person in question respond to the question: How are you?
Actually the answers that the masks give are deceptions (many people even tend to lie and put on other people's masks).

Have you already decided which Mask you will wear tomorrow or you are going to Heal?

The proof of the degree of a person's emotional illness is shown by their masks.

As we have said before, a person with a healthy Solar Plexus does not need any mask, because they feel confident in themselves, they don't give a damn what others think and they don't need to prove anything to anyone.

On the contrary, when you see people who brag about their “successes”, who need to show “how well things are going for them”, who shout from the rooftops about all the money they earn, how important they are, etc., etc. ., thinks that they are very insecure people, self-conscious, with a lot of fear, with a lot of need to be loved...

...really traumatized people with a sick Solar Plexus who are crying out to be healed...
